Dental Insurances Coverage – Million Dollar Question
We also accept most dental insurance. Our office keeps abreast of the latest insurance trends to help you maximize your insurance benefits. We will accept the assignment of benefits on most major insurance policies and will also prepare and file your claim. We give written treatment plans to all of our new patients and recare (check-up) appointments. These plans include our fee, what insurance is estimated to cover and what your out-of-the-pocket expense will be. If your insurance company rejects a claim and refuses to pay for a service it is not a reflection of how important the service is. It is based on a master contract drawn up between your company and an insurance company. It is unusual for all of the charges to be paid by insurance but our business office staff will strive to help you obtain your maximum benefits by prompt and efficient processing of your claims.
Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement.
As a convenience to you, we will help you process your insurance claims in order for you to receive the maximum benefit. We will also gladly provide dental x-rays and a written diagnostic report should your insurance company have any questions about the services provided.
